DONATION UPDATES

           "THIS IS OUR THIRD YEAR OF HELPING THE HOMELESS AND DESTITUTE"

   This is an UPDATE for 12/10/15: Thanks to some wonderful donors, I delivered blankets to Bridgehaven Homeless Shelter in Waverly, Ohio and blankets to the Pike County Sheriff to distribute to their patrol cars. Both places are very appreciative of these and very much needed. Last year the Sheriff's Departments in Jackson and Pike County went thru a lot of them. I also delivered clothes to the Welfare House in Pike County from a special friend here in Jackson. The Welfare House has moved to 900 Main St. in Piketon, Ohio and just to let you know they have been around for almost 80 years, that is what I was told today. Everything there is free for anyone who has a need, NO CHARGE!!! God bless them for their dedication. Thanks to all who have helped this ministry and Have a blessed and Merry Christmas.

 

   " We are always needing help for the Pike County homeless shelter.  I am taking collections for the following items if you can help or even have any in your home that you don't need. Hotel size or trial size toiletries such as bar soap, lotion, shampoo and disposable razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, toothpastes and regular size laundry and cleaning supplies and of course, toilet paper! If you can help, I will be glad to come and pick up your donations you have, big or small or if you have just a few trial sizes and you live far away, like all my friends who live up north and way down south, you can send them to me if you want or send a gift card for Dollar General or Walmart and I can pick up the items for you and I will send you back the receipt for proof of purchase. "

   This is a ministry that will continue as long as donations come in and there are people to serve. Thank you again for your kindness and giving.
